Case Of North Dakota Man (Shannon Brandt, 42) Accused Of “Plowing Down” Conservative Teen has been reduced from Murder to Manslaughter, here is why:

The Post Millennial reports that the man reportedly ran over a teen he deemed a “right-wing extremist.”.

Brandt’s lawyer Mark Friese said, “There is no evidence to support the misplaced allegation of intentional homicide,” and “The state and defense forensic experts have provided comprehensive reports confirming this tragedy was an accident.”

An autopsy conducted on the victim of this situation found that Ellingson’s injuries “weren’t caused from being struck by Shannon Brandt’s vehicle and were caused by being run over.”

Murder charge could imprison Brandt for life. However, the reduced charge of manslaughter he is facing now comes with a maximum sentence of just ten years. Since he accidently ran him over after chasing him down, it’s manslaughter.
