The government report says
The Biden Administration published a report required by Congress that shows what the benefits would have been if the federal permits for the Keystone XL Pipeline had not been canceled.
This report is meant to show that there would have been economic benefits to the Keystone XL Pipeline if that permit had not been revoked.
The Department of Energy (DOE) completed the report in late December without releasing a public comment about the report at that time. However, the report that has come out now says that the Keystone XL Pipeline would have created between 16,149 and 59,000 jobs. The report indicates that those jobs would have created between $3.4 and $9.6 billion worth of extra-economic opportunities.
